Recently Stilletto House had the pleasure of working with Delaware native, author K.D. Harris. Ms. Harris reached out to none other than Lindsey Epps-Tucker of UrBoi Photography to capture her portrait for her upcoming website. Wanting to capture the very best of Ms. Harris, Tucker sought out Shy of Stilletto House of Artistry to handle Makeup and hair touch ups for the portrait.

Born in Mombasa off the coast of Kenya, Africa, 19 year old Fashion Designer Lisa Mghendi has lived in 14 cities, 6 states and 2 countries. She contributes her sense of style to her globe trotting. At the early age of 11 Lisa knew she wanted to be a designer and by the age of 13 she was head over heels for fashion design. Acclaiming fashion as her “EVERYTHING” it’s not only an expression for her, it is more than a life style it’s her artistic identity.

Delaware native John Paul Bratcher has been working as a full time Couture Freelance Designer for the past two years. After working in the field of customer service for ten years, he decided to give up the humdrum of the boring corporate world and follow his dream. After leaving corporate America John Paul hit the ground running with full force to fulfill his dream of becoming a designer.

Born in Cherry Point, North Carolina at the age of seven Charlee and her mother moved to East Baltimore, Maryland where she was raised. At that, tender age was when she realized she wanted to be a designer after watching her grandmother. For eleven years she marveled with the ideal of fashion, starting with making doll clothing by hand from a pattern of 106 outfits that her grandmother gave her as a gift, to altering ready to wear items she purchased , to finally purchasing her first sewing machine and teach herself how to sew by the age of eighteen.

Fashion is an ambiguous, innovating, transcending and expressive art form that provides an outlet for many creative individuals. That bring to life material by turning it into art in motion; pulling for thought or mental images these Artist create garments that will live forever.
